This intricate and wonderful ceramic lamp is a lovely example of the delicate work created in Manises. Handcrafted by ‘Cerámicas Bondia’, one of the most prestigious ceramic houses of Manises, Spain … the quality is superb and the intricate Cala Lilies design is gorgeous. The lamp is from 1950/60’s and in excellent condition with very few signs of ware other than those that come with age.
Often referred to as ‘Casa Pupo’ or ‘Manises’ lamps, a generic term for lighting produced in an area outside of Valencia, these lamps are gorgeous, and it’s amazing that they have survived! It would make a statement in any home.
The lamp is supplied with TheKula bespoke signature shade in natural linen with a gold trim, as shown.
